Wauger Wirinca

Greenlanes National School, Clontarf, 5th Class, 26th April 2017

Wauger was bored and annoyed because no one could pronounce his name right.

Wauger closed his eyes, he didn’t want to look at his boss whose beady eyes were staring at him through the lenses of his glasses. 

Ugh...he hated glasses.

Into the Woods

One day a little girl called Molly went into the woods with her best friend, Nightmare Fred.

Molly was talking to Nightmare Fred. 

“Do you want to go and play?” she said. 

An Epic Adventure

Once there was a Magic Oil Tree called Ben. And his best friend was called Rose. 

She grew there next to the Oil Tree. They lived in the Haunted Forest where strange things always happened like other trees were alive and could walk. 

But each tree every single night disappeared. All except for the Magic Oil Tree. 

The 24hr Trial

There once was a Kangamoose called cushion.  His best mate was Harold the pig.  

He lived in the land of the Mookangas and always wished he could be a Mookanga too.  

His destiny was to become a Mookanga, like a caterpillar turns into a butterfly. But it’s taking ages.  

The Fight for King Chicken

Once there was a chicken called Super Magic Wizard Chicken (his friends call him SMWC). His best friend was Billy, the normal chicken. 

SMWC could lift mountains, shape-shift and fly. He was as strong as five gorillas. 

He could also speak Spanish, French, English and Irish. 

The Life of Joe the Shark

Deep, deep under the sea there lived a shark named Joe. 

He was afraid he was going to lose his family, but he really wanted to go find a banana costume. 

Joe’s best friend was a dolphin named Pearl.

Mr. Cranky’s Week of Worries

Richmond National School, 2nd and 3rd Class, County Mayo, 4 April 2017

Mr. Cranky was stuck in his office, planning to skydive, when he heard the children laughing.

It was very hard for Mr Cranky to hear the children because he had his window barricaded so he would not see their faces.

“Why are you always stuck in your office?” asked one of the children.
