The Life of a Helmet

Scoil Chaitríona, Baggot Street, 3rd and 4th Class, 1st March 2017 

Helmie the Helmet was in a store room in a charity shop. It was very dark.

He was scared, but singing to himself made him feel better.

Some of the songs he liked were “Can’t Stop the Feeling” and “Happy.”

ONCE upon a time there was a girl called Shaníqwa Awqínash.

Her best friend’s name was Erodos.

His name was Erodos because, ever since he fell while running from his brother and his friend, he has accidentally said erodosaclidus – at the end of every sentence.

The Secret of Collin and Manpool

Once upon a time there was a man named Joe.

He wanted to play for Manpool, but he could not get on the team because he was too young.

His friend Collin was on the team because he was old enough and Joe was jealous, but also happy for Collin.


Strange Day In Lollipop Land

It was a warm day in Lollipop Land. 

Syrup the pancake and his friend Frankie the French Toast were ready to go to school.

On their way they met Tom and Jack, the strawberry chocolate flavoured melting marshmallows.

Mitchell the Crazy Scientist

Once upon a time there was a mad scientist named Mitchell. He was working in his lab, making a new potion. 

Mitchell’s greatest dream was to make paintings come to life. Mitchell’s biggest fear was big dogs. 

One day when he was young, a big dog had chased Mitchell up a mountain, Mount Struggle.

Finding Furry’s Family

One day, a fantastic fox named Furry was in the forest. 

When he was walking in the forest, Furry met another fox named Chloe.

Chloe  and Furry were rare marble foxes. Furry was carrying his teddy with him.

Sammy the Dog

Sammy the Dog was out for a walk in St. Catherine’s Park. 

He was feeling happy because the sun was out. At the playground he met another dog. 

“I’m Sammy! How are you?” said Sammy. “I’m Holly and I’m feeling sad.” Holly said.

“Why are you so sad?” asked Sammy.

Once upon a time in a DogLand far far away, when a dog made his own planet, Da Legend Pug would rise and be the hero of his land. His best friend is Ze Legend Doge. 

Far far away in the planet of Earth there’s The Evil Chewahaha trying to take over his planet and he doesn’t even know about it. 

Ze Legend Doge is spying on Earth to see what the Evil Chewaha is doing.
