The Good, The Squishy and The Ugly

One day, Baguette Boi and his best friend Spread, the Lump of Butter, were at a cafe. 

Spread had to be careful about heat, so they were sitting outside. 

This was the fanciest cafe in town. There was a TV in the cafe and on the TV, the news reporter was talking  about sightings of Blippys in the city.

Cookie Gang

Oscar the Oreo lives in the “Reduced To Clear” section in Pesco. His friend Patricia the Pie lives on the shelf opposite him. 

They meet up in a bar underneath the shelves. Obese Owen lives underneath the Oreo shelf.

Patricia and Oscar argue about who tastes better. Oskar says, “I’m nicer because I’m a cookie.”

Toilet Trip

Kilcroan National School, Williamstown, via Castlerea​, Co.Galway, 5th & 6th class, 3 May 2019

Tom the toilet wakes up in the bathroom in his house. He lives in the Pesident’s house. It’s a  clean and shiny bathroom.

However, when Tom wakes up, he sees that his best friend Pam the plunger isn’t there! He gets up and starts walking around looking for her.

He shouts out Pam’s name in distress.  “Pam, where are you!?”

A Crazy Day

Billy the elephant was sitting down drinking water when Cody the robot dog came into the room. “There is a bat in the hall!” he cried.

Billy ran away and nobody saw him for two days. While Billy was gone, lots of rats came into the house.

Cody said,“Im going to eat them all!”

Oslo’s Greatest Escape

St Patrick’s Primary School, Lombard Street, Galway, 5th Class, 5 April 2019

Oslo the horse, the quick healer, is in her barn. It’s 4 o’clock in the afternoon. She is eating -  but not a lot of food. She doesn’t get much food from her owners.

Fred the 4 year old, Oslo’s best friend, sneaks through a hole in the barn, carrying some of the dinner that he just had.

Oslo neighs at Fred. Oslo and Fred have a telepathic connection. They can talk to each other in their heads.

The Story of Bob the Fly

Mercy Primary School, St Francis Street, Galway, 5th and 6th class, 5 April 2019

Bob the fly is in an old dusty attic. He is walking around talking to his friend Billy the bee.

Bob wants to get out of the attic but he can’t fly out.

He asks Billy, “ Can you lift me out?”

Gisha’s Wish

Brierhill National School, Co. Galway, 4th Class

Gisha the cross-eyed pig lives in a big mansion. She is very popular at school and everybody knows her.

One day, Gisha’s best friend Millie the chubby pug went to the mansion. 

Gisha came to the door and said to Millie, “Wipe your dirty paws!” They walked into the mansion.

Bye Bye Billy!

Shane is playing in a match. He’s just about to score the winning goal.

The crowd is silent. Shane swings his hammer and the ball goes into the back of the net. 

The crowd roars and Shane’s team rush over and pick him up.

A Really Ruuuffff Day

It was a Thursday and Kyle Patoski and Ponnie the one-eyed girl were eating sausages at the table.

Kyle the dog was in a high chair. They were both enjoying their food.
