Uncle Eliza

Scoil Athar Maitiú 6th Class, at Crawford Art Gallery, County Cork 27th of May 2019

 Mary couldn’t believe what she was hearing; her beloved Uncle John was gone. It was going to be a long voyage. Mary hugged her doll tightly.

‘Oh why is life so hard!’ said Mary thinking about her Uncle.

Her doll, Eliza, had extremely soft, black hair that almost seemed real, and although her frock had once been lovely and new it was now old. 

Aither’s Adventure

Aither Astroid was a white fox with blue horns and black wings that lived in a painting in the Crawford Art Gallery. He sneaks out at night sometimes to get food.

Every day when the children come they touch and stroke the painting and he doesn’t like it! 

Every time they touch the painting he disappears into another picture.

The Attack of the Bananas

In the dangers of the jungle lived the orang-utan named Darwin and his trusty side-kick Turner the Turtle. 

Turner the Turtle was not slow he was super fast. Every year the banana wrangler Peely, came into the jungle to hunt all the animals. 

But of all the times he had come, he had only managed to hunt five animals. This year he is coming, but he won’t get anyone because a new superhero has arrived in the jungle.

The Great Manchesco Divelo

Manchesco Divelo is a talking dog and his biggest dream is to work at a circus. 

His best friend’s name is Fat Betty and she is a cat. He lives in the city far from any circus. 

He has an owner that is always gone to work and doesn’t really care about him.

Food Fight

Once upon a time there was a giant pizza called Pepper Roni.

His best friend was Crisps, the alien, his head was made of crisps and his body was an alien’s.

They lived in a cave in a small village.  Pepper Roni’s biggest wish was for the world to be made of pizza.

Tá Leipreachán agam agus tá sé ag rith uaim ar bhogha báistí!

Dhúisigh mé suas. Bhí tromluí agam, mar is é an eagla is mó atá agam ná leipreacháin: uair amháin, bheir leipreachán greim ar mo dheartháir agus mharaigh sé é. Bhí sé leathuair tar éis a seacht ar maidin.

 D'fhéach mé ar mo uaireadóir. Bheadh mé déanach don eitilt go hÉirinn don scannán nua ina bheidh mé ag aisteoireacht ann. Tá Leipreachán agam agus tá sé ag rith uaim ar bhogha báistí!

Dia dhuit, Rósa is ainm dom agus tá mé in ann caint. Is madra mé. Tá cara agam agus an t-ainm atá uirthí ná Snó. Is huskie í.

Ba mhaith liom bheith mar duine agus nuair a deirim do aon duine sa terrace ina chonaím bíonn gach madra eile ag gáire ach ní bhíonn mo chara Snó. 

Ba mhaith le Snó bheith mar duine freisin, chun a bheith in ann caint liom nuair a táimid inár ndaoine. 

The Buttery Toast Invasion

Glenville National School, 4th Class, County Cork, 08 February 2019 

One beautiful summer morning, out of nowhere huge buttery monsters attacked Farmer Jim Bob Joe's house.

When the clock struck twelve, his best friend Squishy Watermelon Max got captured by the buttery toast. 

The buttery toast locked him up in a cell. Then Farmer Jim Bob Joe found a flying donkey and tried to capture it.

A Million Rashers

One day in Texas, Billy Bob Joe was cooking in a small house. 

Then Billy Bob Joe saw his best friend Paul the Potato. 

Paul the Potato got into the frying pan to get a tan. When Paul the Potato got onto the frying pan, Billy Bob Joe almost ate him.
