The Adventures of Joel the Lump of Coal

Once upon a time, there was a spoon named Susie La Teaspoon.

She was lying on the table next to the fire. Susie looked over and saw Joel the Lump of Coal with his parents.

It was a cold day and it was snowing outside. Mary picked up two pieces of coal and threw them into the fire. They were Joel’s parents!

Rith a deartháir Trevor isteach sa seomra agus sheas sé ar an bhféileacháin oíche – an cara is fearr léi. 

Nuair a chonaic Elena thosaigh sí ag rith timpeall an seomra ag iarraidh an deartháir a mharú.

``Tar ar ais anseo!'' arsa Elena. Ansin rith Trevor amach sa ghairdín.

Defender of the Forest

Once upon a time a forest girl went on an adventure in a new part of the forest.

There was a poacher who went out into the forest on the same day. 

Forest girl fell out of a tree onto the poacher’s back.

The Magic Donut Mountain

St.Fiachra’s Junior National School, Beaumont. 2nd Class, 7th December 2017

One day Pidgy the pigeon and Sparkles the Unicorn were climbing a magical donut mountain. 

They were climbing to the top so that they could make a wish.

Pidgy wanted to be a football player and Sparkles wanted to wish that it would rain donuts everyday so he could eat them.

Billy Banana’s Great Adventure

Billy the crazy banana was wandering through the rainforest. He was very unhappy because he was getting very, very soggy with all the rain.

All of a sudden, a hungry monkey jumped down and ate him. 

But then the monkey spat him out in disgust because Billy was all soggy.

Lizzie and Uni

Lizzie woke up and started to scream frantically. She started to panic because she realised that she was in the attic.

A light was coming from one of the walls. She touched it and it turned into a door. 

She walked through the door, slammed it behind her and realised she’s in a long dark tunnel.
