Fighting Words will publish a magazine of new writing with the Irish Times later this year.  Last year's supplement is available here (Unfortunately, to read the supplement you must be subscribed to the Irish Times).

A group of twelve 9-11 year olds will work together to script a short animated film. Dates are as follows and participants must be available for ALL sessions: 

We are delighted to announce the following project for primary school children, in conjuction with Curious Broadcast. We are looking for twelve 11-13 year olds to work with Fighting Words tutors and the team at Curious Broadcast in Tallaght to create a radio show.

Join author and playwright Roddy Doyle and the Rathdown School Choir in the Main Hall of the NLI, Kildare Street at 8.00pm on Wednesday 14 December for Christmas carols and a reading by Roddy.

9-11 year old children came into Fighting Words recently to write about their favourite books. 

On 7th December, Derek Landy, author of the Skulduggery Pleasant series of books, visited Fighting Words.  He spoke to a 6th class group from St Fiachra’s Senior National School about the Skulduggery Pleasant books and writing.
