Members of Write Club, past and present, took part in a series of Readings to celebrate Joyce's Dubliners. Sean Farrelly, Robyn Gill and Eoin Moore took part in the afternoon of events at the James Joyce Centre.

The School of Education at Dublin City University (DCU) has completed an evaluation of the Fighting Words creative writing model for secondary school students, and an assessment of the potential for adaptation within the curriculum.
Come to Fighting Words and create your own superhero in words and illustration!
Working with Fighting Words tutors, participants will create a brand new superhero, with his/her own backstory, special powers and potential foil. NO PREVIOUS DRAWING OR WRITING EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY.

Beyond the Stars was launched at Easons in O'Connell Street on Thursday, October 2nd. Most of the authors and illustrators were on hand signing copies and there was a very entertaining Q&A with Sarah Webb, Roddy Doyle and Niamh Sharkey.
A group of 38 Fighting Words volunteer tutors took part in Theatre of Shadows on Saturday, 27 September 2014 - an adventure inside the much-loved world of Derek Landy's bestselling Skulduggery Pleasant books.
The event was tailor-made by author Derek Landy and a crack team of LARP (Live Action Role Playing) specialists. There was role-playing, problem solving and an amazing quest to tackle.
