Floppy the Headless Banana was in the fruit bowl in the kitchen.
He was playing catch with his best friend, Bob John the skinless apple.
They were tossing Todd the Grape. Todd was giggling. The other fruit in the bowl were watching. Perry the Plum said, “Don’t drop him or he’ll get squished!”
Bonny the bruised banana walked by and when he saw her, Floppy got distracted and dropped Todd!
“Owww!” shouted Todd. His face was a bit flattened but he was okay.
“Ooooooh… you’ve got a crush on her!” said Bob John.
“No I don’t, you silly skinless apple!” said Floppy. Just then, Sharpie the kitchen knife walked past.
Bob John said, “Hey Sharpie, looks like Floppy’s trying to steal your girlfruit.”
“What did you say?” Sharpie demanded.
“Erg… nothing,” said Bob-John.
“Don’t listen to him, he’s just being silly,” Floppy added.
Sharpie walked off, and said, “Okay, but I’m watching you!”
Floppy said, “What did you say that for?”
“Sorry, I was just messin,’” Bob John replied.
Waldo the Nerdy Orange was passing out flyers to the big ice-skating party on Saturday in the freezer.
The leaflet said that at the Fresh n’ Fruity disco there would be music, a disco ball, and no stainless steel allowed!
